#8220;That whole thing is nonsensical. It#8217;s not serving the president#8217;s interests. He#8217;s got to move more into the mainstream. He#8217;s got to be more into where the moderates are and the independents … that love the president, so if he does that he#8217;ll have a very successful legislative agenda,#8221; he said.

He said it was hard for White House aides to change Trump#8217;s thinking, but that those around him needed to #8220;be blunt with him.#8221;

He also appeared to suggest Bannon was chief among the leakers in the White House.

Scaramucci said Trump #8220;has to move away from that sort of Bannon-bart nonsense#8221; and #8220;move more to the mainstream#8221; way of thinking that is embraced by most moderate Republicans and independents.

He said the #8220;toleration of [white supremacy] by Steve Bannon is inexcusable#8221;.

#8220;The President has a very good idea of the people who are undermining his agenda that are serving their own interests. I think the President knows what he#8217;s going to do with Steve Bannon.#8221;

#8220;What happens in Washington #8230; is the President is not a representative of the political establishment class, so for whatever reason the people have made a decision that they want to eject him,#8221; he told George Stephanopoulos on This Week on on Sunday.
