Bristol court listings, week ending January 12: See who was convicted by Magistrates – Bristol Post

Callum Puffitt (20) NFA. Pleaded guilty to theft from theft from Toys R Us, Patchway. Puffitt was given a 12 month community order with the requirement to undertake 20 days rehabilitation activity. £85 court costs and £85 victim surcharge were also imposed against Puffitt.

Mark Woodbury (49) Pinkers Mead, Emersons Green, Bristol. Pleaded guilty to driving a motor vehicle with an alcohol level above the legal limit. Woodbury was fined £225 and disqualified from driving for 15 months. £85 court costs and £30 victim surcharge must also be paid by Woodbury. Drink drivers rehabilitation course was offered to defendant.

Shamal Naaman (26) Wymbush Gardens, Hartcliffe, Bristol. Pleaded guilty to possessing cannabis, cannabis resin a controlled class b drug. Naaman was given a 12 month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £85 court costs and £20 victim surcharge.

Ashley Hoskins (21) Whitchurch Lane, Whitchurch, Bristol. Pleaded guilty to driving whilst disqualified, being the driver of a vehicle and failing to stop after a road accident and use a motor vehicle on a road, public place without third party insurance. Hoskins was sentenced to 16 weeks imprisonment, suspended for 12 months, disqualified from driving for 12 months and must complete 80 hours unpaid work. Hoskins must also pay £115 victim surcharge.

Lee Clarke (45) East Tucker Street, Redcliffe, Bristol and Matthew Brinkworth (37) Victoria street, Bristol, both pleaded guilty to theft from Superdrug, Broadmead, Bristol. Clarke was given an eight week tagged curfew between the hours of 7 pm – 7 am and must pay £85 court costs and £85 victim surcharge. Brinkworth had a further three months added to an existing drug rehabilitation requirement and must also pay £85 court costs and £85 victim surcharge.
