Joan L. ‘Ombie’ Wolford – Hampshire Review

She worked for SOME, Inc in Capon Bridge as a residential assistant. She was a member of the Capon Bible Fellowship, Capon Bridge Vol. Rescue Squad, volunteered at the Capon Bridge Elementary, and helped as a nurse for the Girls Scouts at the Camp White Rock, all in Capon Bridge. Joan was always willing to help others; she didn’t know a stranger. She often put her red nose and wig on and dressed up like a clown. Joan had a love of bringing laughter others, but her true love was her family. She married Oscar L. Wolford on July 30, 1994, in Capon Bridge.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Gesundheit Institute, P.O. Box 307, Urbana, Ill., 61801.
