David Walliams#8217; Ratburger took the top spot in the juniors#8217; category, with 547 loans last year.
revealed last month that visitor numbers at Worcestershire#8217;s libraries were up by almost 60,000 last year, meaning the county is bucking the national trend of declining library borrowers.
The figures relate to all 21 public libraries, including Bromsgrove and Redditch.
Cllr Lucy Hodgson, cabinet member with responsibility for communities, said: #8220;It#8217;s always interesting to learn what the most borrowed books of the year have been.
Paula Hawkins#8217; The Girl on the Train was the favourite fiction read among adults, who picked up the book 1,317 times.
Comedian Walliams appeared in the juniors#8217; top five again with Billionaire Boy coming in third with 481 loans, pipped to second place by Jeff Kinney#8217;s Hard Luck, which was borrowed 491 times.
Author Lee Child found himself in the adult fiction top five twice, with Make Me coming in second and Night School finishing third.
