One person cut free after crash near Bridgnorth –

Five fire engines from Bridgnorth, Much Wenlock and Wellington Fire Stations as well as an operations officer were in attendance.

Firefighters used specialist cutting equipment to release the casualty.

#8220;Three fire appliances including the rescue tender team were mobilised from Bridgnorth, Much Wenlock and Wellington.

The condition of the casualty is not known.

A Shropshire Fire and Rescue spokesman said: #8220;At 11.18am fire control received a call reporting that a road traffic collision had taken place in Bridgnorth.

#8220;Crews used cutters to release the patient. The land ambulance service and the police were also in attendance. The casualty was left in the care of the ambulance service.#8221;
