She finished the challenge on 5 December, the day before Alannah’s birthday, having covered a total of 166.3 miles, the equivalent of six marathons.
A donation of £500 will be made to Ickle Pickles, a charity providing specialised equipment to Neonatal units around the country.
Liz began her ‘Miles for Miracles’ challenge on September 6th, dedicating time every day to cover at least one mile by walking, running, swimming, paddle boarding and even rollerblading the distance.
“It can be hard remembering the journey, but we are so incredibly lucky and feel forever in debt to the NHS staff who cared for both our girls,” said Liz.
