CAMDEN COUNTY, N.C.
A news release states Tecorey Deonte Jamal Fortson was arrested on charges of legal acquiring property by false pretense, legal id theft and customary law forgery.
A Suffolk man was arrested in New York Monday after deputies stated he used a ladies identity to purchase designer footwear.
Fortson was launched from Albemarle District Jail after posting a $25,000 guaranteed bond. His court date is placed for August. 26.
Deputies stated the arrest took it#8217;s origin from a lady in Currituck County who#8217;d her identity stolen online. The identity crook, deputies stated, used the girl identity to buy six pairs of Louboutin footwear worth $8000. The products were then shipped by UPS to Camden County where these were scheduled to become selected up by Fortson. Deputies stated they found Fortson in the UPS location awaiting the package and located that two separate packages were selected up by Fortson in the last week from UPS. Fortson signed the girl name and recognized the packages.
