Katie Kinne of Slowey/McManus Communications sent a statement to The Eagle on Tuesday afternoon from Phil Keene, director of corporate communications for Walmart.
#8220;We#8217;ve been working on this all day,#8221; he said around 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. #8220;I#8217;m not able to comment.#8221;
The statement comes in stark contrast with what happened just one day prior, when attorneys representing Waterstone Retail filed architectural documents with City Hall for the Woodlawn Crossing project on a 200,000 square-foot Walmart Supercenter along Woodlawn Avenue at the William Stanley Business Park.
Donn Harr, an agent of Waterstone responsible for overseeing Monday#8217;s filing, had few words regarding the status of the project.
